Punjab govt to initiate 1,320 MW coal-fired power-project at RYK

Punjab government will set up a 1320 megawatt coal-fired power project at Rahimyar Khan. A memorandum of understanding in this regard was signed between Punjab government and China’s “Huaneng Shandong Power Generation Company” in Lahore.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said economic cooperation between Pakistan and China is touching new heights.

Under another MoU, China’s Shandong Ruyi Group will establish technical training institute in Sahiwal.
