Prime minister hails Mari Petroleum

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khakan Abbasi during his visit at the closing session of Annual Technical Conference (ATC) and Oil Show 2017 visited the Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) stall and hailed its efforts being carried out to enhance the oil and gas production through indigenous resources.

Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) for the first time established its Petroleum Services stall at ATC organised by PAPG-SPE, held in Islamabad from 22 to 23 November 2017. Showcasing its cutting edge latest technology equipment for seismic data acquisition and processing. PM Abbasi along with Petroleum Minister Jam Kamal Khan visited MPCL stall and appreciated MPCL and its management for exploring indigenous resources utilising its own services units.

It may be noted that MPCL services are considered the most successful and best-equipped services outfits in the country (including foreign companies) from the standpoint of equipment as well as the quality of its workforce.

Mari Petroleum (MPCL) since its first gas discovery in 1957 is providing uninterrupted gas supply to its consumers. MPCL proudly displayed its 3D Seismic Data Acquisition unit that includes three states of the art drilling rigs, a slick line unit and an in-house 2D/3D seismic data processing centre. With expansion into the exploration activities and the addition of exploration allied services, MPCL has now achieved the status of fully integrated exploration company in Pakistan, having oil and gas fields in all provinces in Pakistan.
