National Foods establishes new UAE subsidiary to bolster Gulf operations
Sharjah-based entity to operate under Dubai subsidiary as food manufacturer advances international expansion strategy.
National Foods Limited (PSX: NATF) has incorporated a new subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates as part of its strategy to strengthen its international business and deepen its presence in the Gulf market.
In a notification submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday, the company said National Foods FZCO, its wholly owned subsidiary based in Dubai, has established National Foods Gulf (FZE) in Sharjah, UAE.
The move follows a restructuring of the company's UAE operations. In February 2025, National Foods DMCC completed the liquidation of National Foods (FZE), a Sharjah-based subsidiary that operated under the Dubai entity. The newly incorporated company will now serve as the group's latest operating vehicle in the emirate.
National Foods said the incorporation aligns with its broader international expansion plans, under which it continues to strengthen its overseas business structure.
Founded in 1971, National Foods began operations as a private limited company before later converting into a public limited company. The company manufactures and markets convenience food products, with a portfolio of approximately 250 products spread across 12 product categories.
The company has established a presence in 40 countries across five continents, while ATC Holdings (Private) Limited remains its ultimate parent company.
