LAHORE: In a notification sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, At-Tahur Limited owner of Premá Milk has applied for an initial public offering on the bourse.
According to the notification, At-Tahur Limited had submitted a draft prospectus for issuance of shares to high-net worth individuals, institutional investors via book-building. It would then be followed by issuance of shares of the company to the public and retail investors, said the notification.
Furthermore, the notification said, “The draft Prospectus of the Company is hereby placed on the Website of the Exchange under caption “Public Comments on Draft Prospectus of At-Tahur Limited” for seeking public comments as required under Section 3 (11) of the Public Offering Regulations, 2017 and the Regulation No. 5.2.2 (ac) of Listing of Companies and Securities Regulations of PSX.”
In a comment to Pakistan Today, Maha Jafer Butt, Director Research, Capital Stake said “With the growing population and awareness amongst people the demand for purer milk is raising the evident from numbers of the company. It’s the first IPO of its kind as it caters to a precise segment, milk and diary products. The company is looking for expansion into the big city Karachi after Lahore.”
At-Tahur Limited has since its inception in 2007 strived to provide its consumers with dairy products the way nature intended them to be. At-Tahur’s premá milk brand launched in 2008 and in a short span of time became a household name in Pakistan for its 100% natural purity & freshness.
This will be the third IPO of the year following Matco Foods and AGP Pharmaceutical’s listing on the bourse in January and February respectively. KSE-100 index was trading at 43,540.48 points, down 164.62 points from close on Tuesday.
