Honda Atlas launches ‘5S’ training series

Honda Atlas Power Products and Nizamuddin Faridul Haq group have jointly launched “5S”, the second series of the Honda’s Nationwide Technical Service Training Program.

The training camps will be held by Honda Motor Co Japans’s Kenji Tokuta who is a seasonal trainer.

5S is a management concept used in Japan and pertains to the five management pillars – ‘Seiri’ (Japanese word for putting things in order), ‘Seiton’ (Japanese word for tidying up), ‘Seiso’ (Japanese word for cleaning), ‘Seikestu’ (Japanese word for cleanliness), and ‘Shitsuke’ (Japanese word for discipline).

This unique form of training is being organised free-of-charge with the prime motive of uplifting the general skills of the technical staff related to sports, particularly the Cricket grounds at schools/universities, clubs, and international level in Pakistan. The same shall also cover landscaping sites including municipalities and public parks.

CEO Honda Hirofumi Iryo told the media, “We are implementing the concept of ‘Genba Genbutsu and Genjitsu’, which means go to the actual place, see the actual situation, and where the actual work is done”.

Hotlines 0311-6342722 and [email protected] have been launched for curators and managers to get free advice.
