SBP reserves dip 0.08pc, stand at 8.04bn

The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan decreased 0.08pc ($6 million) on February 22, according to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday.

The foreign currency reserves held by the SBP were recorded at $8,036.8 million as compared to $8,043 million held in the previous week. The SBP cited no reason for the decline in its report.

The overall liquid foreign currency reserves held by the country, including net reserves held by banks other than the SBP, stood at $14,815.8 million. Net reserves held by banks amounted to $6,779 million.
