Pakistan Cables achieves KEMA gold certification for low smoke zero halogen power cables

KARACHI: Pakistan Cables Limited awarded the prestigious KEMA Gold certification for its XLPE – Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) Power Cables in Pakistan by the KEMA Laboratories, Netherlands.

Pakistan Cables was the first company in Pakistan to have its products type-tested by KEMA 33 years ago in 1984 and currently holds eights KEMA certifications.

Pakistan Cables promotes use of Low Smoke Zero Halogen power cables among its broad range of customers due to its inherent benefit of ‘safety’. Use LSZH reduces chance of loss of life due to less harmful emissions and is environmentally friendly. The Company is the only manufacturer in Pakistan to have state of the art testing equipment to verify performance of cables under fire as required by the International standards for type tests.

Founded in 1953, Pakistan Cables is the pioneer of Pakistan’s wires and cables industry.
