Indonesian investors to visit Pakistan next month: envoy

SIALKOT: Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan Iwan Suyudhie Amri said on Friday a high-level trade delegation from Indonesia would visit Pakistan next month to explore business opportunities.

During his visit to the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the envoy discussed with the SCCI members possibilities for bilateral trade and commerce enhancement.

The Indonesian ambassador underscored the need for collective efforts to promote people-to-people contacts so that the bilateral trade remains beneficial for both countries.

SCCI Senior Vice President Waqas Akritam Awan, in his welcome address, said in order to overcome the problems hindering bilateral trade, it was important to form close liaison and develop effective strategies.
