‘PR to launch five new trains soon’

ISLAMABAD: Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that Pakistan Railways is set to launch five new trains in order to ensure the provision of comfortable, safe and speedy means of transportation to the people.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Saturday, the minister said that the ticketing system would be improved further, adding that the Pakistan Railways’ revenue for freight trains has exceeded the set target.

He expressed hope that seven million railways’ passengers would be added to the railway network by the next month.

On a question, he said a five-member committee has been formed for the development and betterment of the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club.

The minister said international companies are taking keen interest to invest its capital in freight train department.

    Railway has to improve service toilets, fans light and comfort in cosches. Why the old citizens are given concesdion in limited trains? Honorable minister rlway to work hard ….

  2. In shalimar train parlour car compartment was part of train for the last 50 years, now without any reason it is removed from the train.we regular passengers of shalimar advise railway administration to restart parlour car compartment in shalimar train.

  3. New trains lounge karne se acha hai jo trains chal rahi hain unko acha Karen na light hai na ac greenline ac business class Mai 8000 ka tickets hai service ghatiya tareen hai. Aese kaam karne walo pe lanat hai. Bas awam ka paisa khana hai
