PSX appoints Farrukh Hussain Khan as CEO

KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has appointed Farrukh Hussain Khan as its new chief executive officer, as per a notification released by the exchange on Tuesday.

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has approved it according to Regulation 10 of the Securities Exchanges (Licensing and Operations) Regulations, 2016.

“Khan will assume the charge of office in due course of time,” the notification stated.

Previously, Khan had been Executive Director at BMA Asset Management.

The PSX had been without a CEO since the resignation of the last CEO, Richard Morin, in May 2019. Morin was the first non-Pakistan to head the PSX.
