Foreign investors keen to invest in Allama Iqbal Industrial City

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC) Mian Kashif Ashfaq has said the government is working on multiple fronts to enter into new markets in order to boost exports in post-Brexit scenario.

Talking to a delegation in Islamabad, he said foreign investors are keen to invest in Allama Iqbal Industrial City in Faisalabad, a prioritised Special Economic Zone under CPEC.

He said that since the global economic gravity has shifted towards Asia and Pakistan, CPEC is opening new vistas of business opportunities to the advantage of the people.

Mian Kashif said the United Kingdom is the third largest investor in Pakistan after China and the Netherlands and accounts for 8 percent of foreign direct investment to Pakistan.
