ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Finance on Wednesday promoted 124 accounts’ officers to grade 18.
According to sources, a meeting was held under the chair of Additional Finance Secretary Dr Muhammad Arshad wherein promotions cases of 130 accounts’ officers of Accountant General Pakistan Revenue (AGPR) were discussed in detail.
Sources said the promotion of grade-17 officers was pending for the past many years but any meeting in this regard could not be held due to various reasons.
Upon fulfiling the promotional criteria, the officials expressed gratitude to Dr Muhammad Arshad as well as the government and resolved to work diligently. These officers were performing their duties in different cities, sources added.
