Four PIA flights announced to bring back Pakistanis stranded in France

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has announced to operate four flights to bring back Pakistanis stranded in France, a national daily reported on Wednesday.

According to a PIA spokesperson, flights will be operated between August 15 and 30 to bring back Pakistanis who have been stranded in France due to lockdowns imposed due to coronavirus pandemic. As per details, a schedule of four flights has been issued between Islamabad and Paris under which flights will be operated from Islamabad on August 16 and August 30 and from Paris on August 15 and August 29.

In a notification, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said operations will resume from August 9. “International scheduled flight operations to/from Pakistan will revert to authorizations as per summer-20 scheduling season,” the notice issued to airmen said. The notification also said that operations must be conducted in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
