Dollar gains ground in interbank market

LAHORE: The Pakistani rupee lost ground to the dollar in early trade in the interbank market on Saturday, opening weaker and losing further value.

The dollar opened at Rs166.10/166.20 before appreciating to Rs166.30/166.40 (10:30 PST) with trades reported at Rs166.30.

The dollar had closed at Rs165.7916 last Friday.
