PKR gains Rs1.35 against dollar this week

KARACHI: Pakistani Rupee continued gaining strength against the US dollar in the interbank and gained another 37 paisas on Friday.

According to a tweet of the State Bank of Pakistan, the US dollar opened at Rs162.86 and closed at Rs162.49. PKR has gained Rs1.35 against the US dollar during this week.

Meanwhile, the liquid foreign exchange reserves of the country stood at $19.015 billion by week ended on October 9, 2020, the SBP stated. The official reserves of SBP fell by $357 million to $11.798 billion, as against $7.196 billion a week ago.
