Pakistan and China to collaborate on lithium battery technologies

The agreement outlines cooperation in material science, energy storage systems, and related technologies

The University of Sargodha and Zaozhuang School of Technology in China have signed a memorandum of understanding to set up a joint research centre on lithium batteries at the University of Sargodha.

The agreement outlines cooperation in material science, energy storage systems, and related technologies.

The two institutions will exchange faculty and researchers, conduct joint supervision of students, and organise seminars and workshops. Collaborative research and patent development are also included in the plan, along with new academic programs focused on capacity building in the field.

A joint coordination committee, with equal members from both sides, will monitor implementation. The committee will meet once a year to review progress and explore new areas for collaboration.
