The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has introduced an online portal to simplify registration and payment of Agricultural Income Tax (AIT) for farmers and other taxpayers in the province.Â
The platform is designed to streamline the process and reduce the need for in-person visits to SRB offices.
Taxpayers can register on the portal using a valid CNIC and an active mobile number. Once registered, AIT payments can be made through banking apps, designated ATMs, or over-the-counter facilities. The portal also provides access to all relevant information and guidance materials.
SRB stated that the new system is intended to help taxpayers meet their obligations on time, including filing AIT returns by the due date. The board also thanked taxpayers for their cooperation in supporting a more transparent and efficient tax framework in Sindh.
