Japanese electric mobility company Terra Motors targets sustainable transport solutions and job creation in Pakistan

Terra Motors, a leading Japanese electric mobility company, has entered the Pakistani market with the launch of its flagship electric three-wheeler, Kyoro.

Kyoro, designed for both passenger mobility and last-mile logistics, features a top speed of over 55 km/h, an extended range of up to 200 km per charge, and an 11.7 kWh battery. The vehicle includes a 2-speed gearbox for easy hill climbing, with a gradeability of up to 22%, quick acceleration, a 4-hour charging time, and low operating costs, making it ideal for diverse road conditions.

Founded in 2010, Terra Motors operates production facilities in India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Japan and serves markets across South and Southeast Asia, including India, Nepal, Taiwan, and Thailand. The company is actively seeking sole distributor partners in Pakistan to drive the adoption of clean and modern transport solutions.

Go Suzuki, Managing Director of Terra Motors Corporation, expressed the company’s commitment to reshaping the sustainable mobility landscape in Asia. “We aim to create jobs, reduce fuel dependency, and establish a cleaner, more efficient transport ecosystem in Pakistan,” he said.

Terra Motors’ expansion into Pakistan aligns with its broader growth strategy and reflects the growing economic and business ties between the two countries, with potential for industrial growth, skill development, and job creation.
