Pakistan Single Window wins Asia-Pacific trade facilitation innovation award

Pakistan Single Window has been named one of the three winners of the Asia-Pacific Trade Facilitation Innovation Awards 2026, the company announced on Friday.
The award was presented during Paperless Trade Week 2026 in Bangkok, jointly organised by the Asian Development Bank and the United Nations ESCAP.
The event was held under the theme “Next Generation Trade Digitalization - Advancing Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation”.
Syed Aftab Haider, chief executive officer of Pakistan Single Window, received the award on behalf of the organisation and Pakistan.
Pakistan Single Window was recognised for the design, development and implementation of its Integrated Risk Management System.
The system automates border clearance by assessing trade declarations against regulatory rules, risk-scoring models and AI-driven analytics.
It assigns consignments to relevant clearance channels without manual intervention, allowing low-risk trade to move faster while directing enforcement resources towards high-risk consignments.
