Standard Chartered Pakistan names Adil Salahuddin as incoming CEO
Appointment remains subject to regulatory approval, while Rehan Shaikh will continue as chief executive until the transition is completed

Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited has approved the appointment of Adil Salahuddin as its incoming Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and director, replacing Rehan Shaikh.
The appointment is subject to the necessary regulatory approval and clearance, according to a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on July 13, 2026.
Rehan Shaikh will continue to perform his duties as CEO until Adil Salahuddin assumes office.
Salahuddin has more than 30 years of banking experience and has been associated with Standard Chartered Group for 25 years.
During his tenure, he has held leadership roles across Markets, Coverage and Transaction Banking in different regions. His work has primarily focused on Pakistan, while he has also served in the UAE and Saudi Arabia and gained experience in Middle Eastern and African markets.
