Engro Powergen Qadirpur re-elects key executives, announces leadership appointments

KARACHI— Engro Powergen Qadirpur Limited (EPQL), a subsidiary of Engro Energy Limited, announced on Wednesday the re-election of key executives in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The Board of Directors has re-elected Athar Abrar Khwaja as Chairman and Adeel Qamar as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from October 14, 2025. Both executives will serve until the next election of directors.

EPQL operates a 217 MW permeate gas-based power plant in Qadirpur, Ghotki. The plant is a combined cycle plant with a 1+1+1 configuration, including one gas turbine, one heat recovery system generator (HRSG), and one steam turbine.
