Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has launched a new digital payment facility allowing customers to pay their electricity bills instantly using QR codes.
A spokesperson for Lesco stated that customers can now scan the QR code on their electricity bills through any mobile banking app to make immediate payments.Â
This service eliminates the need to visit bank branches or bill submission centres, providing a more convenient and time-efficient way for customers to settle their bills.
The QR code payment facility will be available on every Lesco bill, enabling customers to complete transactions securely from the comfort of their homes. Lesco Chief Executive Engineer M Ramzan Butt emphasized the company’s commitment to offering modern, transparent, and customer-friendly services.
