‎HBL and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) signed an MoU to collaborate on developing commercial financing schemes for LUMS’ upcoming project, ‘Pakistan – Battery Swapping Network’, supported by the Mitigation Action Facility.

‎The initiative aims to accelerate the adoption of electric three-wheelers in Pakistan through flexible financing options, driving the shift to cleaner, emission-free transport, improving air quality.
‎
‎Furthermore, the initiative will support Pakistan’s climate change mitigation targets as stipulated in the Paris Climate Agreement and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

‎The signing ceremony was attended by Omer Mallick, Product Head SME – HBL and Dr. Tariq Mahmood Jadoon, Provost – LUMS along with team members from both organizations.
