ISLAMABAD – May 20, 2026: Amid rising fuel prices and continued global economic pressures affecting household budgets, JazzCash has launched a 10% cashback offer for customers making fuel payments through Raast-enabled JazzCash QR codes. The initiative is designed to support customers during a challenging economic period, ease pressure on everyday expenses, and reflects JazzCash’s commitment to improving the lives and livelihoods of Pakistanis.
JazzCash customers paying for fuel through RAAST QR at participating fuel stations will receive 10% cashback directly into their JazzCash wallets. The list of participating fuel stations can be accessed through the JazzCash website.
Speaking about the initiative, Aamir Aftab said: “Pakistan’s transition towards a cashless economy depends on making digital payments relevant to everyday use cases. With the State Bank of Pakistan’s Raast infrastructure enabling secure and interoperable QR payments, JazzCash remains focused on creating meaningful value for customers, whether through government-led programmes such as the Prime Minister’s Fuel Subsidy and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa fuel support programmes, or through consumer-focused initiatives within the JazzCash app. This 10% fuel cashback offer reflects the same commitment by helping ease the burden on customers at a time when household budgets are under pressure, while encouraging wider adoption of Raast-enabled QR payments.”
JazzCash currently supports over 1.4 million merchants across the country and one of Pakistan’s largest Raast-enabled QR payment networks across fuel stations, with partnerships spanning major brands including Attock Petroleum, Hascol, Shell, and Askari Petroleum. By expanding QR-based payments across everyday use cases such as fuel, JazzCash continues to support Pakistan’s shift towards a more inclusive, digital and cashless economy.
The initiative also builds on JazzCash’s wider role in enabling digital financial access and transparent disbursements across Pakistan. This includes its contribution to public-sector programmes such as the Prime Minister’s Fuel Subsidy initiative and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa fuel support programme, where JazzCash has supported faster, more efficient and more accessible delivery of financial support to eligible beneficiaries.
