Pakistan’s Forex reserves increase by USD 43 million to USD 19.85 billion as of October 17

SBP reserves rise by USD 14.4 million, while commercial bank reserves increase by USD 28.6 million

Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves stood at USD 19,853.50 million on October 17, 2025, reflecting an increase of USD 43 million, or 0.22%, compared to the previous week.

The State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) reserves increased by USD 14.40 million, reaching USD 14,455.20 million, while net reserves held by commercial banks rose by USD 28.60 million, totaling USD 5,398.30 million.

SBP reserves were clocked at USD 14,455.20 million (up by USD 14.40 million, or 0.10%), while commercial banks’ reserves were up by USD 28.60 million (0.53%) at $5,398.30 million.
