Sixteen Pakistani companies are showcasing their products at the Beautyworld Middle East 2024 trade exhibition, which is currently underway at the Dubai World Trade Center, the Pakistani consulate in Dubai reported on Tuesday.
The exhibition, one of the largest international trade events in the beauty and wellness industry in the region, runs from October 28 to 30 and attracts over 1,800 exhibitors from 60 countries. Pakistani exhibitors are displaying a wide range of products, including hair care, cosmetics, skincare, fragrances, and personal hygiene items.
The companies are participating under the patronage of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s UAE envoy, commended the Pakistani exhibitors for their innovative products, emphasizing the importance of the event in promoting Pakistan’s beauty and personal care industry on the global stage.
Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai, Hussain Muhammad, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion and highlighted that the event provides an excellent opportunity for Pakistani businesses to promote their products, expand exports, and attract foreign investment. He praised the exhibitors for diversifying their products and expanding their market reach in the competitive Dubai market.
The participation in Beautyworld Middle East follows a successful showing by Pakistani businesses at the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) earlier this month, where they displayed Pakistan’s growing capabilities in the IT sector.
