Fauji Fertilizer posts Rs73.6 billion profit for 2025, declares Rs8.50 final dividend

Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited reported a profit after tax of Rs73.6 billion for the year ended December 31, 2025, translating into earnings per share of Rs51.7, according to its year-end financial results submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The board of directors has recommended a final cash dividend of Rs8.50 per share (85%) for the year, in addition to interim dividends of Rs28.50 per share (285%) already paid. No bonus or right shares were announced.

Net turnover for the year rose to Rs432.4 billion, compared with Rs373.5 billion in 2024, while gross profit increased to Rs130.6 billion from Rs127.2 billion. Profit before tax stood at Rs120.9 billion, up from Rs109.1 billion a year earlier.

The company said dividend income of Rs22.4 billion from subsidiaries and associates, along with investment income of Rs17.4 billion, was a key contributor to overall financial performance.

During the year, aggregate urea production stood at 2.90 million tonnes, while DAP output was recorded at 0.84 million tonnes, with average capacity utilisation of 112% and 124%, respectively. Combined urea offtake reached 2.89 million tonnes, and DAP offtake stood at 0.83 million tonnes.

Fauji Fertilizer said it contributed Rs110.1 billion in taxes and levies to the national exchequer during 2025, compared with Rs94.1 billion last year. Locally produced fertilizers enabled foreign exchange savings of around $1.2 billion through import substitution.

The company said its annual general meeting will be held on March 16, 2026, with the share transfer books to remain closed from March 9 to March 16, 2026, both days inclusive.
