Macter International launches Tirzepatide in multidose pre-filled pen

Macter International Limited has launched TirzaTrim (Tirzepatide) in a multidose pre-filled pen (PFP) presentation in Pakistan, the company said in a material disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on January 29.

"Tirzepatide is a dual Glucose-Dependent Insulinotropic Polypeptide (GIP) and Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, indicated for the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, with additional benefits in glycemic control and weight reduction. It represents a next-generation incretin-based therapy with significant clinical relevance in cardio-metabolic care," said the notice.

The company said the launch of the multidose pre-filled pen marks a milestone in its biotechnology portfolio and strengthens its position in advanced injectable drug delivery systems and complex biologics in the local market.
