Hascol receives offer from National Bank of Pakistan for restructuring of its financing facilities

Hascol Petroleum Limited has disclosed that it has received an offer letter from the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) for the restructuring and rescheduling of its financing facilities, marking a fresh step in the company’s balance sheet overhaul.

In a notice issued under the Securities Act, 2015 and Pakistan Stock Exchange rules on Monday, the company said the offer letter is dated January 29, 2026 and will be reviewed in detail by its board of directors for consideration and acceptance.

The board has authorised the disclosure of the development to the Pakistan Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan while the review process is underway.

Hascol said the offer from NBP represents a key step in the ongoing restructuring and rationalisation of its financing facilities, adding that it reflects confidence by a major financial institution in the company’s turnaround efforts and future outlook.

However, Hascol did not disclose the size or amount of the financing facilities proposed to be restructured under the offer letter.

The company said its management and board remain committed to strengthening financial discipline and governance, with the stated objective of improving its financial position and creating sustainable long-term value.
