JK Spinning Mills approves 7.5 MW solar power project
PKR 442 million investment aimed at cutting energy costs

JK Spinning Mills Limited has approved a plan to install a 7.5 megawatt solar power system as part of its energy cost reduction strategy, the company disclosed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on February 9, 2026.
The decision was taken by the board of directors in line with Section 96 and Section 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1 of the PSX Rule Book. The estimated cost of the solar power project is approximately PKR 442 million.
The company said the investment in renewable energy forms part of its longer-term operational planning and is intended to lower power expenses while supporting environmentally sustainable practices.
JK Spinning Mills said the information has been transmitted through the Pakistan Unified Corporate Actions Reporting System for record purposes, and requested that TREC certificate holders be informed accordingly.
