Pakistan’s Symmetry Group acquires US-based digital branding firm in AI-driven expansion

Symmetry Group Limited has executed a share purchase agreement to acquire LogoDesignGuru.com Inc., a US-based digital branding and technology firm operating AI-powered design platforms and digital asset marketplaces.

The company disclosed this through a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday in compliance with Section 96 of the Securities Act 2015 and the PSX Code of Corporate Governance.

“In continuation of the Company’s earlier announcement regarding approval of its investment plan, Symmetry Group Limited hereby informs that it has executed a Share Purchase Agreement for the acquisition of LogoDesignGuru.com, Inc. (LDG), a US-based digital branding and technology company operating AI-powered design platforms, digital asset marketplaces, and hybrid design-service models serving international customers,” read the notice. 

Symmetry said that LogoDesignGuru.com is expected to generate approximately $0.7 million, equivalent to Rs200 million, in revenue during the current year and is currently profitable. Following the acquisition, earnings are projected to improve through cost optimisation, operational efficiencies, and revenue growth initiatives.

The company stated that the acquisition supports its strategy to expand its international presence and enhance its platform-led digital capabilities. Further details regarding the transaction are expected to be shared in due course.

On Monday, Symmetry Group approved an aggregate investment plan of up to Rs1.25 billion to scale operational capacity, support execution of recently secured long-term engagements, strengthen technology infrastructure and meet working capital requirements aimed at improving profitability.
