K-Electric appoints Adeeb Ahmad as interim CEO

K-Electric Limited has appointed Adeeb Ahmad as interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect, following the resignation of Syed Moonis Abdullah Alvi.

In a disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange under Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015 and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Rule Book, the company said the decision was taken by its Board of Directors in a meeting held on February 13, 2026.

The company stated that the appointment comes in continuation of its earlier disclosure dated February 6, 2026 regarding the resignation of the CEO.

K-Electric further informed that the board has commenced an accelerated search process to appoint a permanent CEO.
