Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) has inducted an Aframax tanker, M.T Lahore, into its managed fleet, according to a disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday.
The vessel, with a deadweight tonnage of 112,051 tonnes, has been added through PNSC’s subsidiary, Lahore Shipping (Pvt) Ltd. The induction follows an earlier disclosure made in October 2025 regarding the addition of an Aframax tanker to the corporation’s fleet.
PNSC informed the exchange that the vessel has now been successfully incorporated into its operations.
Earlier, on February 10, 2026, PNSC inducted M.T Quetta, with a deadweight tonnage of 49,999 tonnes, through its subsidiary Quetta Shipping (Pvt) Ltd.
In January 2026, the corporation also added an Aframax tanker, M.T Karachi, with a deadweight tonnage of 109,990 tonnes, through Karachi Shipping (Private) Limited.
The latest additions form part of PNSC’s ongoing fleet expansion strategy aimed at increasing tanker capacity. Aframax-class tankers are typically used for medium-range crude oil transportation in regional and international markets.
In August 2025, PNSC expanded its fleet to 12 vessels with the induction of two Aframax tankers, Swan Lake and P. Aliki, and announced plans to increase its fleet size to 20 ships by year-end.
