Service Long March Tyres to invest $80 million in passenger car radial tyre project 

Service Long March Tyres Limited, a subsidiary of Service Industries, has approved the establishment of a passenger car radial tyre manufacturing project at its existing facility in Nooriabad, Sindh, with an investment of $80 million.

The development was disclosed by Service Global Footwear Limited to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday through a notice in compliance with applicable regulations.

“The Board of Directors of Service Long March Tyres Limited (SLM), an associated company, has approved the establishment of a Passenger Car Radial (“PCR”) Tyre manufacturing project in Pakistan at SLM’s existing location in Nooriabad, Sindh. SLM will make an investment of US$ 80 million and will serve the domestic as well as export markets,” read the notice. 

According to the disclosure, the board of Service Long March Tyres, an associated company, has cleared the project, which will cater to both domestic and export markets.

The investment is aimed at expanding the company’s footprint in the passenger car tyre segment while strengthening its presence in regional and international markets.

In December 2025, Service Long March Tyres announced its intention to raise capital through an Initial Public Offering and seek listing on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

In July 2025, Service Industries also disclosed the sale of 8,683,920 shares of its subsidiary Service Global Footwear Limited through an off-market transaction. The company did not disclose details of the buyer in that transaction.

Service Industries Limited was incorporated on March 20, 1957, under the Companies Act, 1913, now governed by the Companies Act, 2017. Its principal activities include the manufacture and sale of footwear, tyres and tubes, and technical rubber products.
