SG Power Limited to shift core business from power to technology sector
Board approves strategic pivot, appoints Naim Anwar as chairman

SG Power Limited has decided to change its principal line of business from the power sector to the technology sector, according to a disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday.
The decision was taken at a board meeting held on February 16, 2026, where directors approved the management’s proposal to transition the company’s operations toward technology-focused activities.
The company stated that management is preparing a detailed business plan to support the shift, including proposals for a new name reflecting the revised strategic direction.
The board also directed management to identify and appoint key management personnel to align operations and strategic initiatives with the new business model.
In addition, the board approved the appointment of Naim Anwar as director in place of Salim Razak Tabbani and elected Anwar as chairman of the board.
