Rashid Jahangir appointed full-time President & CEO of Samba Bank

The Board of Directors of Samba Bank Limited (SBL) has appointed Mr. Rashid Jahangir as the full-time President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the bank, effective February 17, 2026. 

Jahangir, who has been serving as the Acting President and CEO, will assume the role pending approval from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and in compliance with all applicable regulations.

This announcement follows the bank's 133rd board meeting, during which the decision was made, marking a key leadership change for the institution. 

Jahangir’s appointment is expected to strengthen the leadership of Samba Bank as it continues its operations in the banking sector.
