The Privatisation Commission board has formed a Negotiation Committee to engage with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) regarding the terms of a potential Financial Advisory Services Agreement for the proposed divestment of Islamabad International Airport.
According to a news report, the committee will handle negotiations and present its recommendations to the board for approval. The transaction aims to outsource airport operations through a concession model, following an open and competitive process.
Additionally, the board approved the commission’s audited financial statements for the 2024-25 fiscal year, reiterating its commitment to maintaining transparency and competitiveness in privatisation efforts.
