SNGPL halts RLNG deliveries after LNG supplier declares force majeure amid Middle East conflict
March 4, 2026

Agritech Limited has suspended operations at its urea plant after the disruption of RLNG supplies, the company informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange in a material disclosure on Wednesday.
The company said Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited had notified it about a “potential event of force majeure” declared by the LNG supplier following the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which has disrupted LNG production facilities and affected supply.
As a result, RLNG supply to Agritech’s fertiliser plant was suspended on March 4, 2026, forcing the company to halt operations at its urea production facility until further notice.
The company stated that the disruption was beyond its control and followed a formal communication from SNGPL regarding the suspension of gas deliveries.
