The Pakistan Airports Authority has extended its Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for airlines until April 15 due to continued jet fuel supply constraints.
According to the latest notice, the advisory remains in place amid an energy shortage linked to the evolving situation in the Middle East. Airlines have been instructed to operate outbound flights from Pakistan with reduced fuel loads while ensuring inbound flights carry maximum possible jet fuel.
The authority had initially issued the directive in response to disruptions in Jet A-1 fuel availability caused by regional developments affecting energy supply.
