ECNEC approves over Rs280 billion development projects

The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved development projects worth over Rs280 billion, covering infrastructure and social sectors, during a meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

The approved projects include investments in highways, healthcare and urban development, aimed at improving connectivity, expanding public services and supporting economic activity.

During the meeting, the deputy prime minister highlighted the government’s focus on sustainable growth, service delivery and long-term development planning.

The session was attended by the ministers for finance, planning and national health services, along with representatives from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and senior officials from relevant departments.
