Supernet wins repeat multi-million dollar cybersecurity mandate from major bank

Supernet Technologies Limited has secured a new multi-million-dollar cybersecurity contract through its subsidiary, Supernet Secure Solutions Pvt Limited, marking a continuation of its long-standing engagement with one of Pakistan’s largest banks.

The contract, awarded for a five-year term, follows the successful completion of a previous mandate signed in 2021, making this the second consecutive engagement between the parties.

Under the renewed agreement, the company will deploy upgraded cybersecurity systems aimed at strengthening the bank’s digital infrastructure. The scope of work includes implementing endpoint security solutions to protect more than 10,000 employees nationwide, an area widely viewed as a critical frontline defense against cyber threats in the financial sector.

The company said the value of the contract falls within the multi-million US dollar range, positioning it as a significant addition to its cybersecurity revenue pipeline over the next five years. The financial impact of the deal is expected to remain positive throughout the life of the agreement, supporting the company’s long-term growth outlook.

In parallel with this project, the subsidiary is already delivering a three-year privileged access management solution to the same client and has previously supported the bank’s international operations through a range of cybersecurity services.

Market observers say repeat contracts of this scale typically reflect strong operational performance and client confidence, while also pointing to rising investment by banks in advanced cybersecurity capabilities as digital banking adoption accelerates and cyber risks intensify.
