K-Electric appoints Shaheryar Chishty as chairman

K-Electric has appointed Shaheryar Chishty as chairman of its board following a meeting of the board of directors held on April 15, 2026. 

The appointment comes after the election of directors at the company’s Extraordinary General Meeting held on April 2.

According to a notification submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the board formally approved the appointment during its latest meeting. The company has informed the exchange to notify TRE certificate holders of the development.
