Pakistan extends airspace ban on Indian aircraft till May 24

The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has extended the restriction on Pakistani airspace for Indian aircraft, with the latest notice remaining in effect until 4:59 am on May 24.

According to a new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), the ban applies to all aircraft registered in India, as well as those operated, owned or leased by Indian airlines and operators.

The restriction also covers Indian military flights, continuing the existing aviation limitations between the two countries.

A similar notice issued last month had extended the restriction until April 24.

The curbs were first imposed on March 18 and remained in force until 23:59 EST on April 23 before being extended under the latest notification.
