Engro Polymer plant to undergo maintenance from April 28 to May 18

Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday that its plant will undergo scheduled maintenance from April 28 to May 18, 2026.

The company disclosed the development under Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015 and relevant Pakistan Stock Exchange regulations.

According to the notice, the maintenance activity will continue for nearly three weeks, with the company stating it will keep the exchange updated on any further developments related to the shutdown.

Engro Polymer requested the exchange to disseminate the information to TREC holders in line with regulatory requirements.

According to the PSX website, Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited was incorporated in Pakistan in 1997 and operates as a subsidiary of Engro Corporation Limited, which in turn is owned by Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited. The company is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC), Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM), caustic soda and other related chemicals.

The company also supplies surplus power generated from its plants to Engro Fertilizers Limited as part of its operations.
