Engro Polymer appoints Ahsan Zafar Syed as chairman, Abdul Qayoom as CEO

Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited has appointed Ahsan Zafar Syed as chairman of the board and Abdul Qayoom as chief executive officer, the company said in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

The appointments were made following the election of directors held at the company’s annual general meeting on April 27, 2026.

According to the disclosure, both appointments took effect from April 27 and will remain in place until the next election of directors.

The company informed the exchange of the changes in leadership in line with regulatory requirements.
