Pakistan allows export of donkey meat, hides to China via Gwadar Port

The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the federal cabinet has approved the export of donkey meat and hides to China through Gwadar Port, according to an official statement.

The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb after reviewing a summary submitted by the Food Security Division.

The ECC allowed the disposal and export of existing inventory in accordance with applicable regulations and agreed export protocols.

During the meeting, the chief economist also briefed participants on recent trends in key economic indicators, including price movements of essential commodities and overall inflation.
