SBP to observe May 1 holiday in line with labour day notification

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed on Friday, May 1, 2026, in observance of Labour Day, following a public holiday notification issued by the Government of Pakistan.

According to the central bank’s announcement, all SBP offices will suspend operations for the day in line with the nationwide holiday marking International Labour Day.
