Attock Refinery Limited has resumed operations at its main crude processing unit after supply chain and logistics disruptions eased, according to a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The refinery said its HBU-I unit — the company’s main crude distillation unit with a processing capacity of 32,400 barrels per stream day (BPSD) — has restarted operations following the normalization of oil tanker movement, crude oil receipts, and product dispatches.
ARL had suspended operations at the unit on April 22 after restrictions on tanker movement linked to heightened security measures in Islamabad disrupted both inbound crude supplies and outbound fuel deliveries.
The company said improving logistics conditions have now allowed the refinery’s primary processing unit to resume normal operations.
