Millat group evaluating electric bike production in Pakistan

Millat Tractors Limited has said one of its group companies is evaluating the feasibility of electric motorcycle production in Pakistan, according to a disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday.

In a notice issued on May 7, 2026, the company said the clarification was being made in response to recent market speculation regarding its possible entry into the electric motorcycle segment.

Millat Tractors stated that the matter was currently at a preliminary stage and no final decision had yet been made regarding EV bike production.

The disclosure was also addressed to the Surveillance, Supervision and Enforcement Department of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
