Big Bird Foods expands retail presence through Imtiaz outlets nationwide

Big Bird Foods Limited has expanded its retail footprint after securing placement of its value-added products across 27 outlets of Imtiaz Super Market nationwide, according to a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

The company said Imtiaz Super Market is among Pakistan’s major retail chains with a growing nationwide presence and strong customer traffic across grocery, fresh and frozen food categories.

According to the notice, the arrangement is expected to improve the availability and visibility of Big Bird Foods’ products in the modern retail segment and support the company’s strategy to strengthen its retail presence alongside its food service and corporate business operations.

Based on internal assessments, the company said the arrangement could potentially contribute between ₨2 billion and ₨2.5 billion annually to its revenue after full rollout and stabilisation.

The company noted that actual results would depend on product availability, rollout timelines, consumer demand and market conditions.

Big Bird Foods also stated that increased demand was expected to improve capacity utilisation and strengthen fixed-cost absorption.

The company said it would continue pursuing growth opportunities aimed at creating long-term value for shareholders.
